Rahul and Athiya wed at the bride’s father Sunil Shetty’s farm in Khandala, some 80 kilometres from Mumbai, India.
Before deciding to get married, KL Rahul and Athiya dated each other for a considerable amount of time. On a handful of Team India’s visits, the cricketer and actress were also spotted together.
The newlyweds posted pictures from the event on social media. “I learn how to love in your light,” We got married today, surrounded by the people we love the most, in the place that has brought us so much happiness and peace. We ask for your blessings on this path of togetherness with a heart full of gratitude and love, they said on their individual social media accounts.
The groom looked dapper in a beige sherwani, while the bride was stunning in a pink lehenga. After the ceremony, the newlyweds posed for the photographers who were waiting outside the wedding location.
Sunil Shetty made the announcement that he has now become a father-in-law to the photographers and reporters, declaring that all procedures have been completed before their social media posts.
The Bollywood actor’s video was widely disseminated on social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Suniel Shetty added, “Bahut acha raha…aur abhi phere bhi ho gaye, shaadi officially ho chuki hai, aur officially father-in-law bhi ban chuka hoon!” in reference to the wedding ceremony.
In-law ka chakkar agar hat jaye aur agar papa hi rahu toh bhaut khoobsurat hai, kyunki who part main bahut ache se nibhaata hoon, the man said.
The delighted father of the bride responded, “Definitely, I suppose post IPL,” when questioned about the celebration of the newlywed couple.
The first video from Rahul and Athiya’s wedding was also made public later in the day. The couple was grinning broadly and posing for pictures.
When the Indian cricketer celebrated his ladylove on her birthday with a sweet social media message that included Athiya and himself, the couple made their romance official the year before.
